Nylacast, an award winning polymer manufacturer will be showcasing a range of performance and efficiency boosting engineered products at Plantworx 2019.
Having serviced the construction, agriculture, quarrying and mining industries for over five decades, Nylacast understands the challenges often encountered through the arduous industry conditions.
Working closely with OEMs to deliver the highest advantages through materials technology, Nylacast offer a full engineering service from initial concept, design and chemistry through to end products. This includes products which are low weight, low friction, corrosion resistant, dimensionally stable and with a high resistance to wear and abrasion. The use of Nylacast polymers presents benefits not achievable with traditional materials such as steel, iron or bronze.
The performance and efficiency of construction equipment can be easily boosted through Nylacast polymers offering cost savings. Lower whole life costs are achieved in addition to increased efficiency through reduced frictional loses and lower power requirements. Maintenance is also reduced through the self-lubrication and corrosion resistance, resulting in less servicing, replacement, coating and overall equipment downtime.
Nylacast will be showcasing a leading range of engineering materials in the form of typical industry applications from gears and clamps to wear parts and rope protection components. Some of the materials on exhibition include Nylube, a supreme wear resistant, low weight grade of cast polyamide 6. Oilon, an oil filled, corrosion resistant grade of Polyamide 6. Both materials widely featured in industry equipment. Engineers will also be showcasing Nylastat, an ATEX approved material developed for and utilised by the mining sector.
Nylacast will have a team of dedicated industry engineers on stand AA5 at Plantworx who will be available to discuss specific project or product ideas, needs and requirements.
Plantworx 2019 takes place at The East of England Showground in Peterborough, UK, from 11 to 13 June. Taking place every two years, Plantworx was created for industry by industry and is the UKs largest event for the construction equipment sector, attracting visitors and exhibitors from across the globe.
