Nylacast welcome new apprentices

The start of the educational term, August, saw Nylacast welcome its latest intake of engineering apprentices.
With a passion and drive to succeed in the field of engineering the four new apprentices undertook a 3 stage interview and assessment centre which formed part of the selection process for the award winning engineering apprenticeships offered at Nylacast.

Three of the new apprentices will be continuing their education and starting their career as CNC Engineers and one of the new apprentices will do this as a Maintenance Engineer.

The apprenticeship scheme sits alongside the many educational programmes delivered through the Nylacast Engineering Training Academy which was established in 2014 to combat the rising skills shortage faced in manufacturing and engineering today.

The new apprentices will be partnered with dedicated and experienced mentors within the company. Nylacast would like to congratulate them on their new roles and wish them success in their training and future.
