We are delighted to announce that Nylacast Engineered Products has received the esteemed Silver Award from EcoVadis, placing us in the top 15% of companies for sustainability.
EcoVadis, the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, has recognised Nylacast for its commitment to creating a positive impact on the environment, society, and the economy.
Nylacast’s ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals have been at the forefront of the company’s operations, and the company has been actively working towards making continuous improvements in these areas since beginning our ESG journey. The silver award is a recognition of Nylacast’s success in implementing sustainable practices and ensuring ethical business operations.

EcoVadis is a collaborative platform, which allows companies to evaluate their environmental and social performance as well as those of their suppliers. In 2020, 70,000 companies were assessed by EcoVadis and last year that figure rose to more than 500,000.
Their methodology is built on international sustainability standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact, and the ISO 26000, covering 200+ spend categories and 175+ countries. The result is a Sustainability Scorecard which illustrates performance across 21 indicators in four themes:
• Environment
• Labor & Human Rights
• Ethics
• Sustainable Procurement
