With an increased effort in supporting the local community, Leicester based engineering polymer manufacturer, Nylacast, are pleased to announce they have been short-listed as a finalist in the 2014 Leicester Mercury Business Awards under the “Contribution to the Community” category.
As a long established, local company with a large Leicester workforce, Nylacast as a company passionately dedicate valuable time, effort and resource to a number of local campaigns, charities and initiatives. From spending time in schools helping to improve students Maths and English skills to company tours and interactive learning sessions for children from challenged backgrounds looking to go into the working world, supporting local engineering students to donating food, clothes and equipment to the homeless, the list really is extensive.
The Leicester Mercury Business Awards will take place in April, Nylacast wish all the other award finalists in all categories the best of luck and would like to thank all those who have provided Nylacast with the opportunity to help give back to the community.
