Nylacast exhibits Engineering Design Show 2015
It’s a hat-trick for Nylacast, who will be showcasing their engineering polymers at the Engineering Design Show in October for the third consecutive year.
Nylacast’s head of research and development, Professor Malcolm Fox, a leading expert in engineering polymers, will be delivering a workshop on increasing performance and efficiency through the use of polymers. The session will focus on the importance of correct material selection, the cost and performance advantages of engineering polymers and the key characteristics for selecting a polymer partner.
Professor Fox said: “I am really looking forward to being able to meet many like-minded engineers and discussing the importance of polymers in a whole range of different applications. The Engineering Design Show is such a great show as it showcases the very best of UK engineering design and it’s so great to be a part of such a popular engineering event.”
Nylacast’s mission at the show is to demonstrate the benefits such as durability and strength that can be achieved through the use of engineering polymers in industry.
Recently appointed as Royal Academy of Engineering Visiting Professor at the University of Bradford, Professor Fox will also be on hand at the Nylacast stand during the event to discuss new developments in products and processes with visitors.
Now in its third year, the Engineering Design Show has tripled in size and sees visitors flock from across the globe. Priding itself as being the only event that provides design engineers with everything they need under one roof, the popular show will feature a high level conference, free practical workshops and an exhibition showcasing cutting edge technology and innovation from leading companies in the field.
The Engineering Design Show takes place on October 21 and 22 at the Jaguar Exhibition Hall in Coventry. Nylacast will be exhibiting at stand E70. Professor Fox’s workshop will take place on Day 1 of the show in Workshop Theatre 1 at 12:15-12:55
