Nylacast Collect 4 Christmas 2020

Nylacast collects over 50 care packages to support the local community. 

In support of local charities Leicestershire Cares & The Zinthiya Trust, Nylacast has once again taken part in their Collect 4 Christmas campaign, donating items and care packages such as food, personal care items and fun activities for children.

With various lockdowns, travel restrictions, and social distancing guidelines, 2020 has been an unprecedented year for all of us. As a result, food poverty and mental health issues have risen dramatically. The Collect 4 Christmas appeal aims to spread a little joy to those that are having a challenging time due to Covid-19. 

For this Leicestershire Cares partnered up with Zinthiya Trust who work to alleviate poverty and abuse across the city of Leicester, managing several food banks and reaching people who have a network of feeding schemes to support those families who are struggling.

The team at Nylacast collected over 50 personal care packages. With all packages collected being distributed to young adults and families in need of well-being support that has been affected either financially or through isolation and loneliness.
