Nylacasts pioneering spirit charters a new course

Manufacturers of world renowned engineering polymer solutions, Nylacast, are continuing their commitment to increasing the awareness and use of value adding materials technology on a worldwide scale.

Currently operating from the UK with additional manufacturing, distribution and sales facilities in Houston, Pennsylvania and South Africa, Nylacast continue to work closely with Oil majors, service providers and OEMs within the international Oil & Gas Industry. 2014 being the Chinese year of the Horse is based on the ethos of being strong, energetic, warm-hearted and showing unremitting efforts to continuously develop. These are qualities which can certainly be recognised when looking closer at Nylacast. Coupled with continuous development and investment in people and facilities, Nylacast also apply great effort to expanding their geographic markets and working closely with clients and customers to develop and harvest greater working relationships worldwide. With this in mind, Nylacast are proud to have recently showcased their pioneering materials technology by participating in the International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC).

This was the 7th edition of the conference which took place in Doha, Qatar earlier this January with over 67 technical conferences taking place in addition to an exhibition of technological suppliers to the industry. Nylacast exhibited amongst other technology suppliers, showcasing their range of unique engineering polymers which are proven to create and add excellent amounts of value to all areas of the Oil & Gas industry, from Offshore and Subsea applications through to Pipeline technology and Gas Transportation. Tan Ali, Nylacast Sales & Marketing director also delivered two technical sessions in the IPTC Technical Theatre, this focused on a detailed insight into the distinctive method which Nylacast polymers are produced, the technology behind the materials and the many different advantages they provide to all areas of the industry.

The Nylacast booth and the applications and materials on display attracted a high amount of positive attention from companies in the region such as Saudi Aramco, Qatar Petroleum and Qatar Gas, allowing Nylacast to educate visitors of the conference further on the advantages of using alternate materials over traditional ones such as steel, iron or bronze.
